The Nigerian entertainment industry has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of fast-rising skit maker, Sanku, who reportedly lost his life in a ghastly road accident in Oyo State.
Eyewitnesses revealed that the accident occurred early hours of Monday, September 1, 2025, along the Ibadan–Oyo Expressway when the car conveying Sanku and two others reportedly lost control and somersaulted several times. While the other passengers sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital, Sanku was confirmed dead on the spot.
The news of his death has sparked shockwaves across social media, with colleagues, fans, and followers expressing disbelief and grief over the tragic incident.
